Sangkhlaburi to Lam Klong Ngu National Park

What a day! I didn't get as far as I wished due to all the climbing that my poor bike and my body had to withstand today. I cycled a little over 73km and ascended 1638m. I am sitting at an elevation at almost 650m and I hope it stays around there until I hit the Sinakharin Reservoir. Tomorrow I will cross it. I figure I have like 50km to reach it.

Some highs for today... The national park checkpoint guard gave me three bottles of water. He spoke lots of Thai which I didn't understand but I think it had to do with the huge hill I encountered shortly after leaving him. Its also raining as I type this. Hopefully it cools everything down just a bit.

I am also camping for tonight so free accommodation once again! Got to love that.

Trip totals = 869km and 7833m for elevation climbed. I'm almost climbing over Everest!
Finally covering new ground again. I'm headed for that second large lake.
Morning climbs are .... okay.
The perfect mango devoured by moi.
Well tomorrow I head east. The trip will mostly trend east and a bit north to east and lots south to the coast. I really don't think I will be getting out of the mountains tomorrow but I will take it one day at a time for now. I am now off to find some food for a growling stomach and hopefully some breakfast so I can be off super early.
