It has been seven days since I boarded onto that Air Canada flight. It has been seven days since I left Julie Dog on my fathers couch. A day off on a cycle is a glorious thing, but sometimes, when the day is long your thoughts drift from the upcoming adventures and head towards the things that you love the most. I dream of running through the woods in pursuits of Julie's dust, breathing the fresh cool air of a springs day. I try to push thoughts of these things to the side and try to focus on the tasks ahead. But its there, no matter where I go, no matter what I'm doing. I let it in when I need it, and let it go when its crushing me.
Here is a song that has been in my head for the last couple of days:

Tomorrow I will leave Kanchamaburi. I am headed to a wild land where my tent will stop being a pointless weight. I have no defined route, but it will lead west into the mountains.
I've been itching for the last couple hours to be riding. I day in town is so stationary compared to the endless day of biking. I am also curious to see how my new handywork will hold up. I cut off a piece of my therma-rest and bungee corded it onto my seat. Hopefully it will give my ass a break!
Wow.....depressing song for a guy travelling in such amazing surroundings. Julie is outside enjoying the now counting down the days. Enjoy the NOW
